The Renegade Rockets!

Kia ora bloggers and welcome back to my blog,

I hope you had a good weekend and stayed really hydrated since it was really hot. As you may know by now, this term the Toroa hub has been learning about rockets and space. After we learnt a little bit about space and rockets, we started to create rockets that were just made out of plastic bottles and we decorated it with cardboard and paper. We also added the details like the fins and the nose cone because every rocket has both of those. After we had been learning and finding out the basics about rockets and space, we were able to test out rocket prototypes and see any changes we needed to make to then make the rocket a bit better. We got a choice to make a group name and a logo, but my group just decided to have a name which is "The Renegade Rocket"I find it really interesting how long it takes to get a rocket ready for launching and how long it takes to get to space. Last week we added information about our rocket and then added the changes and why we needed to change them. My group and I completed a google slide that has all of the information that you would need to know about our rocket.

That is a little bit of what we've been learning throughout the last term and this term. I like the rocket that we created and personally, I think we do need to add changes and if you saw near the end of the presentation, was the overall rating for our rocket. I hope you learned a lot from this blog post and rocket presentation. Thank you for reading my first blog post for this week. I hope you have a good week and learn lots. see you next time!
