Brilliant bundles of BEDMAS

Hello everyone and welcome back to another week of my sharing you what I've learnt. Yay, it's nearly the weekend and you can finally relax. Some of the days throughout this week have been absolutely terrible, but we are lucky enough that a couple of days were not wet and miserable. In math on Monday, my maths group did a recap on BEDMAS and answered 10 easy questions. I started learning about BEDMAS when I was around year 5 and it was really easy to learn and pick up on. We were mostly practising our exponents because some of us were struggling with trying to solve the exponents in a test we did about 2 weeks ago. I'm going to show you the questions that we had to answer and the answer that went with a specific question. Here are the questions that we had to answer and the equations...

I found Monday's task really easy and fun to do because it didn't take much time but it was fun to work them out. BEDMAS is a creative and challenging way to get better at solving problems that your not sure about. I'll tell you to what each individual letter in BEDMAS stands for. B stands for Brackets, E stands for Exponents, D stands for Division, M stands for Multiplication, A stands for Addition and finally S stands for Subtraction. Thank you for reading my 1st blog post. I'm looking forward to experiencing the new and exciting thing in my last year of intermediate. Next week is the last week of term 2 and then we have a full 2 weeks of relaxing and doing whatever we want! Have you learnt BEDMAS before? Do you think it's easy or hard?
