Fun Friday activity

Hi everyone and welcome back to my blog,
Yay! It's Friday and no more school until next week, although I really do like going on the calls in the morning to catch up with my friends and teachers. Since our teachers were being really nice today, they decided to give us some fun activities to try. I thought this was such a good idea so we wouldn't have to work as hard as we do on normal days. There were around 6 activities for us to have a go at. Also, there were three activities in each different colour. There were two colours and an American football task. We had to do at least one from each colour, and I decided to do Turquise first.

The task that I decided to do first was creating emoji Idioms. First, we had to go to a link which was filled with sayings so than it would be easier for us to create the Emoji Idioms. Then we had to get the different emojis to fit in with the sayings from the site. I decided to do two, one long one and a short one. These are the emojis that I used...

  2. ++++

It was really fun to make since I haven't tried this activity before. You should try and work out what the sayings are from each Emoji Idiom. Overall I enjoyed this activity, and I defiantly will try this again soon in my own time. Since it is Anzac day soon, I'm going to make some poppies because that is another task from another colour. But if I don't post the poppies before Anzac day, I just want to wish you all the best for Anzac day and remember all the people who died at the war. See you next blog post!!

Have you tried doing this activity before? Have you made any poppies or done any baking for Anzac day??

  1. Hey Hannah, awesome work! I love how detailed your blog posts are, it gives me a really good idea of what you have been up to and explains everything so well. I'm so glad you enjoy your google meetings everyday, it must be so nice to be able to see everyone. You emoji idioms are so cool! Such a fun task, they're so clever. You'll have to post your answers for me so I can check if I got them right! I hope you are enjoying all your tasks this week. Keep up the great work. Caitlin :)
