This week in the Book Refugee we had to read up to page 105 to 146. After that, we got to choose out an activity to do for week 4. Last week I chose Research so this week I decided to do another activity to last weeks so I chose Maths. All you had to do is answer the maths questions. The conversion is in Syrian pounds so please correct my maths work if I'm wrong. I found this a bit easy because you could use a calculator to convert. from New Zealand dollars to Syrian Pounds.
I was a pupil at Marshland School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.

Hey Hannah,
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting task you have chosen to do. Please check that you have done your math correctly at the beginning, as you have said that the accommodation is 2000 Syrian Pounds, is $2000 New Zealand dollars. Yet at the math at the bottom seems to be different.
Please ask for support if you need any help. I like the way you have challenged yourself with this task, and have chosen something you would not normally do.
Kiaora Mrs Davies, Thank you for giving my feedback and responding to my blog. I will fix up my work. Next time I will double check what am posting on my blog is right.
