Important, Iregular issues worldwide

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. It has been a really annoying week this week because in the morning it's cold then suddenly halfway through the day it's warm. This week we continued to learn and focus on global issues during our inquiry time. There were 12 pictures and 12 different groups in each different part of the class. The pictures were of artwork describing and showing the audience what was going on during Covid-19. Then we had to write what we think the picture means and how we thought it impacted the world. The photos were really interesting and showed me how much Covid-19 impacted on the globe.

After we did that, we went off by ourselves and had to choose a photo from before. We had to decide on one that we thought was the most interesting and important in the globe. I decided to do a photo that represents people being racist and that a little girl couldn't go to school because people were being racist. We had to explain why it was important to us and how it shows the most perseverance and interest out of them all.

I think that this photo is important because I don't like people being racist to other people especially if it offends them a lot. It is really important to remember that people can't help being the colour that they are born with. Sometimes people get really offended by people calling them names about the colour of their skin, and then they go and call the police on them. Sometimes the police get involved. It's really sad that children at a young age have to go through such a terrible time and situation. People die because of their race, but that shouldn't and wouldn't happen if racism wasn't a thing and people who are being racist, should get put in jail no warnings.

I have enjoyed learning so much about Racism and global issues in the past 1-2 weeks, and really excited to find out more. I like this photo because it is really interesting and informing to me because it shows and reminds me of the protests that have been going on in America for a while. I really like learning about this stuff so then I know what is wrong and right for people to say and do. People shouldn't have to protest to be able to go to school or work. It really heartbreaking because I care a lot about smaller things. Thank you for reading my 1st blog post for this week. I will be updating you more and more during this term. Have you learnt about Global Issues? Do you know what racism is? See you next time!
